Color steel sandwich panel

Commonly used coatings for color steel sandwich panels are polyester (PE), followed by silicone modified resin (SMP), high weather-resistant polyester (HDP), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), etc. The coating structure is divided into two coatings, one baking and two coatings and two baking. The coating thickness is generally 20-25u on the surface and 8-10u on the back. For external use in buildings, it should not be lower than 20u on the surface and 10u on the back. The standards commonly quoted for color-coated steel plates are American ASTM A527 (galvanized), ASTM AT92 (aluminized zinc), Japanese JIS G3302, European EN/0142, Korean KS D3506, and Baosteel Q/BQB420.

1. Polyester (PE)

Good adhesion, broad range in formability and outdoor durability, medium chemical resistance. The service life is 7-10 years.

2. Silicone modified resin (SMP)

Color steel sandwich panel manufacturers say that the coating film has good hardness, wear resistance and heat resistance, as well as good external durability and non-powdering properties, but limited gloss retention and flexibility. The service life is 10-15 years.

3. High weather resistance polyester (HDP)

It has excellent UV resistance and high durability, and its main properties are between polyester and fluorocarbon. The service life is 10-12 years.

4. Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF)

Has good formability and color retention, excellent outdoor durability and chalking properties, solvent resistance, limited colors. The service life is 20-25 years.
